Clinical Supervision
Florida LMHC Track

Coming Soon · Interest List Open

For the interns who want to understand the case, not just document it.

I'm building clinical supervision for Florida Registered Mental Health Counselor Interns working toward LMHC licensure.

Expect pattern-based clinical reasoning, a neuroaffirming lens, honest conversations about ethics and cultural context, and room to figure out what kind of clinician you are.

The Approach

What we'll
actually work on.

Supervision is where you learn to think like a clinician: reading the case, making the call, knowing your limits, and finding your own voice.

Clinical reasoning and case conceptualization

Looking beyond isolated symptoms to understand patterns, context, competing explanations and treatment response.

Neuroaffirming care

Considering differences in communication, sensory experience, regulation and functioning within the broader clinical picture.

Ethics and cultural context

Examining safety, boundaries, identity, power and the settings in which care happens.

Clinician development

Building skills, receiving feedback and identifying when additional support or expertise is needed.

Broad clinical supervision with a neuroaffirming lens, across client populations and presenting concerns.

Status Check

Where things
stand.

I'm on track to be eligible for qualified supervisor designation around January 2027. That's an estimate, not a start date: qualifying supervision begins only after I finish the required training and the Florida Board confirms it.

Format, schedule, fees, and start dates will be announced once they're set. The interest list hears first.

Interest List

Get on
the list.

For Florida Registered Mental Health Counselor Interns working toward LMHC licensure. Students and grads planning ahead are welcome too. Tell me a little about where you are.

Please keep your response general. Do not include client names, records, case narratives or sensitive personal histories.

Heads up: this form doesn't start a supervision relationship, hold a spot, or count toward qualifying hours.

Questions

The fine print,
plainly.

When will supervision be available?

Not yet. January 2027 is my anticipated eligibility timeline, not a promised start date. Qualifying supervision starts only after the required training is complete and the Florida Board confirms it.

Who is this offering for?

Florida Registered Mental Health Counselor Interns pursuing LMHC licensure, plus students and grads planning ahead. It's broad clinical supervision with a neuroaffirming lens, across client populations and presenting concerns.

Still in development, within Florida's requirements. They'll be announced once they're final.

What does joining the interest list mean?
