Building the evidence behind the work.

The Alchemist's Lab Research Division studies what the clinic already sees — masking, processing styles, and how neurodivergent individuals regulate — and works toward published, citable findings that strengthen pattern-based clinical practice. White paper in development.

Research Partnership

Be a Research Partner

Clinicians and cases may contribute through de-identified patterns, themes, and insights to support education, research, and future clinical tool development. Your referral inquiry already asks for your consent — no extra steps required.

De-identified only. No client names, identifying details, or traceable information is ever used.
Opt-in only. You choose whether your case contributes to research when you submit your referral inquiry.
Patterns, not people. What gets studied is how presentations cluster — not individual stories.
Research Pillar 01

Masking in Complex Presentations

How high-masking presents across diagnostic categories — what gets missed, what gets misdiagnosed, and what the clinical indicators actually are.

Research Pillar 02

Processing & Regulation Styles

How neurodivergent individuals process internally vs. externally — the foundation of the REM and PEM frameworks.

Research Pillar 03

Special Interests as Regulation

How special interest patterns predict regulatory capacity and nervous system state — a distinctive and underexplored angle in the literature.
