What this website collects, why, and how you can control it.
Last updated: October 13, 2026
This page explains what information thealchemistlab.co collects when you visit or use this site, including forms, the newsletter signup, and small amounts of data stored in your browser. This is a plain-language summary, not a substitute for legal advice. If you need a policy tailored to specific regulatory requirements (GDPR, CCPA, or otherwise), consult an attorney.
Depending on how you use the site, the following information may be collected:
| What | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Name, email, and the fields requested by the relevant form, such as professional role, organization, general goals, or anticipated supervision timing | When you submit a referral inquiry, workshop or Lab Drop-In registration, organizational inquiry, supervision interest form, or contact form | To respond to your inquiry, coordinate the requested service, or send supervision availability updates with your permission |
| Email address | When you sign up for the Lab newsletter or free tools | To send you the requested content and ongoing Lab updates, via ConvertKit/Kit |
| A small local flag in your browser (not a tracking cookie) | When you dismiss or click through the "Free Lab Tools" popup | So the popup doesn't show again right away; see "Local Browser Storage" below |
This site uses your browser's local storage, not traditional tracking cookies, to remember one thing: whether you've already seen or dismissed the Free Lab Tools popup. This information stays in your browser, is never sent to a server, and is not used to track you across other websites.
This site uses Netlify Forms for public inquiries and registrations, including organizational inquiries and the supervision interest list. Submissions are processed and stored through Netlify; relevant notification delivery depends on the site’s configured settings. The Lab uses inquiry information to respond and coordinate the requested offering. Submitting a service inquiry does not automatically subscribe you to the general newsletter.
The Lab newsletter and free tools signup are powered by Kit (formerly ConvertKit), a third-party email service provider. When you sign up, your email address is stored with Kit under their own privacy practices. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email you receive.
Public website forms are for inquiries and registration, not clinical records or confidential case exchange. Please do not submit client names, identifying details, records, case narratives, or sensitive personal histories. A description can remain identifiable even when names are removed. Before clinical information is exchanged for an agreed service, the Lab confirms an approved communication and storage workflow and any required permissions or agreements.
Optional research or educational use is addressed separately for a defined project. An inquiry checkbox expressing interest is not blanket permission to use case material.
